“If you have an itch, scratch it.  If you can’t reach, call in a friend”

If you’re like me, and most of the women that I know, I’m very aware that scratching an itch in public is taboo– especially around the head.  Maybe that harkens back to the days of our youth when scratching your head surely meant that you had a dreaded case of lice.  Even if we have mosquito bites galore or the most terrible case of poison ivy, it’s still not polite to be noticeably scratching ourselves. But, oh, when we finally get the chance to really scratch doesn’t it feel like a little piece of heaven?

Metaphorically speaking, what itches have you been dying to scratch lately?
